The JumboTron screen in New York’s Times Square showcased the Empire State Building lit up in honor of Lights On Afterschool.


Artwork created by afterschool students on display at the Lights On Afterschool Art Exhibit organized by the United Cerebral Palsy of South Florida. More than 100 people took in the students’ work at the Art and Cultural Center of Hollywood on October 18.


Student signatures adorn an Empire State Building cut-out at PS 134 in New York City. The event was organized by The After-School Corporation (TASC), Henry Street Settlement and University Settlement in New York City.


Afterschool Ambassador Martha Petty's Lights On Afterschool event at the (Y.E.S.) Youth Enrichment Services Program in Tuscon, Arizona. More than 300 people joined the program's third annual Lights On Afterschool Carnival at which students from the Centennial Y.E.S. Program created a replica of the Empire State Building to celebrate the first year the building was lit up for Lights On Afterschool.
