Here is the statement that more than 15,000 organizations and individuals have already signed onto: "Afterschool for All: Project 2010 supports the vision that all children and youth deserve access to quality, affordable afterschool programs by the year 2010. Afterschool programs keep kids safe, help working families and inspire learning. It is time to come together around this important issue to deliver a united, powerful message about afterschool programs. Project 2010 will help shape the future of afterschool - and our youth. My organization supports the goal of making afterschool programs available to all young people and would like to be a partner in Afterschool for All: Project 2010!"
Afterschool for All: Project 2010 was created by the Afterschool Alliance to show how many Americans think afterschool programs are vital for our children, families and communities.
