Plans for Lights On Afterschool: We had a Family Night Dinner at Traverse City High School, where CLC students prepared a meal for fellow students and their friends and families. We welcomed and served 121 people. Community Learning Center information was shared and sent home with everyone who attended. We will also enjoy a horsedrawn hayride at Ranch Rudolf on Thursday the 18th of October. We have a lot of talented musical students, and plan to sing while enjoying the beautiful, colorful countryside. Afterward we'll enjoy hot dogs, doughnuts, hot chocolate and cider at the Ranch Lodge. Informational letters are being mailed to local, and not so local, dignitaries, informing them about our after-school programming, letting them know about the enrichment that we strive to provide for students, and inviting them to visit anytime.
