Congressional Caucuses

On March 3, 2005, Members of Congress announced that in order to build support for afterschool programs and increase resources for quality afterschool care, they have established the first-ever Afterschool Caucuses in the Senate and the House of Representatives. Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) and Rep. Nita M. Lowey (D-NY) serve as current chairs of the bipartisan Caucuses.
