President Trump’s budget proposal, released in March, calls for eliminating 21st Century Community Learning Center funding. These funds currently support nearly 10,000 local afterschool and summer programs serving 1.6 million children all across the nation. What does this mean for your program? Your community? Can the budget cut be stopped?

Join a Q&A with Afterschool Alliance VP of Policy Erik Peterson to hear the latest developments on 21st Century Community Learning Center funding, and the road ahead. Learn about steps you can take now to help prevent cuts to afterschool in your state, and hear what one program director is doing to make sure her members of Congress see firsthand how afterschool is working for kids, families, and the community.

Participants will be able to pose questions throughout the presentation, but are encouraged to send in questions about the budget cut in advance to so that we can be prepared to address as many of your concerns as possible.
