VISTA Open Positions

All VISTA applications must be submitted through the MyAmeriCorps portal. The application link on our page will take you to the position listing on the MyAmeriCorps website. Click the red “Apply Now!” button to create a MyAmeriCorps profile and an application, which will include a motivational statement, details of your previous work experiences, and an online form for two references to submit on your behalf. Note that after creating an AmeriCorps application, you will need to submit this application directly to the position that you are applying for.

A few tips for submitting a successful AmeriCorps VISTA application:

• Treat your motivational statement like a cover letter - this is your chance to explain why this opportunity is important to you
• Be intentional in listing your previous work experiences - the limited character count can be challenging, but make sure to take advantage of the opportunity to show off why you’re a great fit
• Ensure that your two references can truly speak to your professional experiences
