Grants for automotive repair programs

Afterschool programs can be critical partners in helping young people access the skills and training they need to pursue jobs of all kinds, including automotive and mechanical careers. If your out-of-school time program is teaching young people the skills needed to maintain cars, motorcycles, and boats, the RPM Foundation wants to help fund it!

Scope: The RPM Foundation supports programs committed to hands-on education and teaching young people the specialized skills and knowledge needed to maintain cars, motorcycles, and boats.

Deadline: 2019 deadlines TBA.

Funds: The average first time award is $10,000.

Eligibility: Nonprofit organizations that have a proven history of being committed to the hands-on training of young people.

How to apply: Collect materials, download and complete the grant application, and email to info@rpm.foundation. Each grant request must be accompanied by one copy of the following items:

  • A brief statement (up to two pages) of your grant request in letter format.
  • A copy of your organization’s 501(c)3 status letter from the IRS
  • A list of other funding sources for this request – pending and received
