Guest blog: A fun-tastic partnership begins!

Page Turner Adventures and the Afterschool Alliance, leading champions of children’s education, have partnered together to spotlight the need for more afterschool programs for kids.

Kicking off this fun-tastic partnership just in time for the annual Lights On Afterschool on October 20, Page Turner Adventures is offering a free, award-winning educational video to Afterschool Alliance partners to celebrate this very special day. Kids will love watching “The Ocean’s Got Talent,” where Seymour the Sea Slug learns to recognize and appreciate his strengths and sings his special song about “finding your light!” 

Both organizations share a strong belief in the need for reliable and affordable afterschool programs to keep kids safe, inspire them to learn, and support working parents with peace of mind.

Currently, there are approximately 7.7 million children nationwide on their own after school from 3 to 6 p.m. Together, the Afterschool Alliance and Page Turner Adventures hope to shed more light on the need for expanded programming at the national, state, and local levels.

Page Turner Adventures is an award-winning children’s media company that produces exciting educational content for kids ages 4 to 10.
