About this webinar:

By partnering with local afterschool providers who contribute trained staff and curriculum, housing authorities across the country are bringing high-quality afterschool education home to the children and youth they serve. A recent webinar, Housing Authorities & Afterschool: Ideal Community Partners, provided information on establishing and maintaining a housing authority/afterschool partnership.

In this webinar, Afterschool Alliance and the Council of Large Public Housing Authorities (CLPHA) are collaborating again in order to provide information on funding sources for housing authority/afterschool partnerships. Guest speakers involved with a successful partnership in Cleveland will discuss: their experiences as a 21st Century Community Leaning grantee, strategies for involving school districts and other community partners in afterschool learning, and suggestions for housing authorities and afterschool providers looking to initiate similar partnerships in their own communities.
