About this webinar:

When science centers and afterschool providers work together, resulting youth programs combine the best of informal science education and youth development principles. To encourage such partnerships, the Afterschool Alliance and the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) are pleased to offer 20 mini-grants to ASTC-member science centers to help them develop and host a 2014 Lights On Afterschool event in partnership with an afterschool provider.

This webinar will introduce interested science centers and museums to the Lights on Afterschool initiative. Speakers will discuss grant expectations, provide event examples, and answer audience questions.
