The American Legion Child Welfare Foundation seeks to:
Deadline: Application period lasts from May 1 to July 15, 2018; please note that applications submitted prior to May 1 and after July 15 will not be considered.
Funds: Varies by request, but recent grants have ranged from $5,000-$75,000
Eligibility: Nonprofit organizations
Areas: Grants must have the potential for helping American children in a large geographic area (more than one state).

Then, complete the application here and mail or deliver your application to the address below, postmarked no later than July 15, 2018. All applicants will be informed of the status of their application by the third week of October.

Please note that these grants do not cover day-to-day expenses – rather, applications should consider how your program contributes to the two goals of the foundation, specifically in their efforts to disseminate knowledge about organizations and programs that positively impact youth.
